Cozy family restaurant with friendly service and great food. My wife usually doesn't like miso soup I think because it's made from a packet and she says it tastes like the water they used to wash the dishes. Here, the miso soup is made with fresh, home made dashi and is very flavorful and was the first miso soup that she liked.

The dumpling soup was just the thing for a cold, rainy, winter night, I really enjoyed it. Sammy showed my daughter how to mix up the bibimbap--she is ovo-lacto vegetarian and they made it without beef on request. We make a kind of bibimbap sometimes at home, but don't have the stone bowls (yet)--for sure thinking about it now. The owners are very friendly and I noticed are on first-name basis with the locals.

My wife had bulgogi and none was left, and a nice conversation with the wife about making kimchi and learned about some new things to try. We are not Korean, but my wife's best friend of many years is Korean and we enjoy the food and make it at home frequently. All in all, the meal lifted our spirits after a long drive and gave us the energy to go the rest of the way.

2nd visit a few days ago was just as good. This time my wife enjoyed the bibimbap (make sure to get it hot except maybe in summer), my daughter had the ramyun (great choice if you're on a budget BTW), and I had the spicy pork with rice which was flavorful and tender, my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. I think this will be our regular stop traveling between DC and New England.

Extremely kind owners remade our sushi when we noticed an unexpected ingredient. Sushi was fresh, delicious & excellent. The Spicy Tuna was mouth tingly spicy! Actually the best I've ever had. Interior of restaurant was clean & bright w/ Asian TV shows playing. Fun date night place, but also family friendly.
